Our tenant paid the 5 week deposit in the deposit scheme and also paid 1 months advance payment to Open Rent, instead to us directly. How do we get this back?
you mean they paid the first month’s rent to OR? If so, you’ll get it after 10 days I believe.

Did you use RentNow? If so, read the emails you would have received. They explain it all.

I can see we sent you an email yesterday about this. The first months’ rent will be transferred to you within 10 days of the move-in date.
