Contract issued ‘Awaiting name confirmation’

I have 3 Tenants and have issued the contract for signature, however one name on the contract is missing and in its place is “Awaiting name confirmation”. How do I fix this? Any ideas? Thanks Michael

I suspect your tenant will know. They will no doubt have received an email explaining this and asking them to do something.

This sounds very dodgy - could be scammers

Have you done ID checks and right to rent checks?

If so there should be no doubt over the tenant names

Watch the recent Panorama programme about tenant scammers who use fake ids and pass OR checks (as bbc did)

If not done the proper checks you need to do asap (not least because legally required) and meanwhile do not sign anything and you may need to contact OR and withdraw the contract offer

Yes they all passed referencing etc. Thanks the Tenant has now solved the issue their end. Michael
