Custom clause deletion didn’t work

I deleted a custom clause, and for days it showed ‘pending deletion’ with the text crossed out and in red. In the end it was never deleted and showed up on the final contract. Openrent support didn’t reply for five days in time to resolve it and now say without screenshots they don’t know what went wrong.

Landlords be careful about deleting custom clauses. Try and get them right first time.

We advise Landlords to check the contract includes what they want it to once it has been issued, and to re-issue it again should this not be the case.
