Have a house for rent last couple weeks (North west London - Zone 4) and demand has been quite disappointing. Professional photos + floorplan and competitively priced in comparison to the area, but in all a few enquiries which have led to 1 viewing.
Anyone noting the market is subdued at the moment? I suspect flats may well be more popular, than houses given the price point, but still seems very little demand at the moment.
Absolutely. Took much longer than expected to let a flat.
Not sure if there is a London version but from earlier this month (11 mar) mortgage strategy Co uk reported
“Demand among renters has fallen by 14% over the last year, while the number of homes available for rent has increased by 11% over the same period, Zoopla reveals.
Zoopla’s latest rental market report show the result has been less competition between renters with 4.8 enquiries per property, down from 6.5 a year ago.”
