I want to claim deductions against a tenant deposit. To do this you use part of the Openrent website (which is dreadful!). After many problems I listed some of the deductions I want to make against the deposit, along with initial information. It was unwieldy, I could not work out how to add half the information and was unable to add costs beyond the total deposit value (so if any values are reduced I cannot add any of my further costs). The tenant refused all the charges but when I go in to try and respond, I am now presented with additional ‘boxes’, (some of which were not there originally) and I cannot make any updates. Has anyone had similar problems and found out how to successfully update please or can I communicate with the mediator as I presume it has gone to mediation(but I have received no information to the effect?
