Do I dock the deposit?

Hi Folks,

I’ve a dilemma-

Great tenants, been with me 12mths - never any problems - just ended tenancy and moved out.

Upon inspecting the property, it wasn’t anywhere near what you would call bad but it certainly wasn’t in the excellent and very clean manner I handed over in. They’d had a stab at cleaning etc but the kitchen had hardly been touched and I found a long term (it was obvious) leak on the rad and a small hole in the wall, as well as Coloured splashes all over the bathroom Ceiling.

It took 6 hours to Sort everything out. Plus materials.

Do I dock the deposit?

6 hours? hardly anything I have spent longer and given back the deposit .I look back at how much they paid and think … I have done well here.
