# Ending a tenancy a month early

Hi,
Im new to being a landlord, and just wanting some guidance on ending a tenancy please?
My tenant’s contract is die to run out begin of April, but due to circumstances, shes wanting to leave a month early, which is fine with me. Shes been a great tenant, but her circumstances have significantly changed.
How do i end the tenancy early on open rent so she gets her deposit back? I advertised and did everything except rent collection through open rent.

You will need to email Openrent staff to answer the logistical aspects, but in term of ending the tenancy, you should complete a deed of surrender template and get it signed and witnessed at the moment of her departure.
