What if you start a new job and re-locate to it, then the job goes wrong, and you have to leave it, then your next job is 150 miles away , so you have to move again, but you are already only in month 1 of a 6 month tennancy. How do you get out of the 6 month tennancy?
You are legally obligated to pay rent and all bills and council tax until the end of the tenancy.
A landlord may be willing to end the tenancy early (surrender) but this is entirely discretional.
