Hi, a potential tenant wants to put in holding deposit over Openrent. But I we dib’t want to use Rent Now and pay a fee for it. So we will do our own AST conteact and take the rent and deposit direct.
Is it free to get Openrent to take the holding deposit? At what stage will I be liable to pay thr £69 fee to Rentnow?
Found it all a bit confusing, thank you so much in advance

Just reject the tenants request to take a holding deposit.

Taking a holding deposit is part of the RentNow process, so don’t do this if you want to deal direct.
