How do I change the rental amount on my tenancy agreement once a rental increase has been agreed?

Hi, I have agreed a rental increase with my tenants, served the Section 13 / 4a form etc now required. What I am not clear about is how I increase the rental amount on the tenancy agreement via the Open Rent platform. I do not use the rent collection service and do not want to.
Many thanks!

@Tiffany7

Manage tenancy - select ‘active tenancies’ scroll down ‘amendment options’ and then ‘increase rent’

Good luck

Ignore above. This is if you want to sign a new tenancy agreement, which you do not. You do not need to update anything on Openrent, as you do not use Rent Collection.

@Karl11 may well be correct.

You have already increased the amount via the s13/form 4, and the tenant’s agreement. No other documentation needs changing.

If you want to, you could also

A) upload a copy of the s13/f4 form plus a copy of the the tenant correspondence in which they agree new amount plus (in due course) evidence the new amount paid, using the ‘manage documents’ section.

B) inform OR via the customer support function

Good luck

Ok, many thanks. This is most helpful. I had assumed you would need to update your tenancy agreement to the increased monthly rental amount but it seems I was incorrect and the s13.f4 is sufficient. Much appreciated!
