How many months rent & how much is worth chasing for?

Landlords, for what amount would you chase missing rent from an evicted tenant?
Especially if you know they have assets. ie Property.

For how much is then worth legal fees and the will power?

if the cost equaled the rent I would do it., CCJ against them to warn others. The revenge would be sweet

The cost can be added to the amount they owe. Small claims court costs are proportionate to the amount owed. It really is more about the time and effort. A couple of hundred pounds, I would reluctantly let it go, any more than that and I would chase it if I thought there was a way to enforce the court judgement - if they have property then this shouldn’t be too hard. If they have no money, you aren’t going to get anything back.
