Open ren are to greedy and complicate. Holdig deposit viewing. All they need to do is give the landlord and the Tennant each others numbered. Especially if it one stupid room to let out .they make a song abd dance about a simpke lodger
i would not want dozens of potential tenants to have my phone number , until one of them becomes a tenant. neither would you if you were a landlord… are you?

I always hold on to my number until I’ve found tenant, where possible. Once they get it potential tenants can hound me at all hours. Not any more!

Give them as good as you get .l usual know who’s going to be trouble with inbthe first day if meetingvthem .get pleanty of deposit so you have got time to kick them out .

5 weeks rent as deposit is all you can get.
If they look like trouble the first time I meet them I don’t have them as a tenant!!
