Induction Hob does not fit

Hi All,

Got an induction hob fitted from curries, when finished they just left the hob on the worktop. It looks like there is some rubber seals between the glass and worktop.

Is it suppose to go under the hob or does it suppose to get pushed down? I can easily just lifted it up.

The installer said it was because my hob hole too small. Is that right?

Did they tell you the hole had to be pre-cut to the correct size before they arrived?
