"Just move in" Company. Where did they get my number?

Hi all,

Minutes after completing a successful referencing from OpenRent (OR), I mysteriously received an email from “Just Move In” (JMI), who claimed that they partner with OR and obtained consent to my personal info through OR.

I do not remember signing up for this consent two years ago, when I first set up my OR account to move in my current property, nor did I receive their spam call and emails.

Could someone from the OR team confirm whether this is the case? If so, how do I withdraw consent from JMI?

There is a mailing list tick box in the account/preferences section. Maybe that’s it?
