I’m looking for a property anywhere in Stockport. It’s my first time renting.. but I have a ccj for £380 which is satisfied but it’s not helping me when applying for a property, I try to be as open and honest as I can but landlords would rather go for someone with a better credit score ect, which I totally understand. I am entitled to dss and I get help for me and my 2 year old daughter
I am self employed but as it’s been under a year I haven’t done a tax return myself my income and expenses are reported through the universal credit itself so I can’t prove to the landlords what I earn on top of what I’m entitled too, it’s a big circle I’m not too sure how to get out of? Any advice or help I’d be extremely greatful
