My family and I are looking for a house to rent in Emmerson Greene and the surrounding areas. We would be able to pay a years rent upfront.
2 adults, 2 Kids.
Landlords should be aware that it would only be possible to accept the 2 years payment once the contract is signed and only then if its offered voluntarily. Full referencing is also still advisable.

Under the RRA, whilst it is legal for you to provide rent in advance voluntarily a LL can’t rely on it as part of any agreement and it would be illegal for them to encourage or request it in any way. Some LLs would see an offer as a red flag.
