Management company is not providing certificate of compliance

Our management company is useless and does not respond. We recently completed a property purchase 6 months ago and we are still waiting for the certificate of compliance to finalise the land registry application.

My solicitor is pushing but there is just no action from the management company.

What can we do to obtain this sooner and what is the risk of not having it?

I’m not sure whether there is much you can do other than hassling them to get it done. However, have a look at the Leasehold Advisory Service website and perhaps book a call with them. I believe there is a long wait though.

Its strange your solicitor advised you to complete without it . Mine wouldn’t.
