We have several properties let with two different agencies.
One agency has presented a new contract. It states that if tenants abscond, we’ll still be charged the management fee for the rest of the year. I can’t see this on any of our other agencies’ agreements.
Is this highly unusual?

But that does sound weird and savage.
Are you doing something exotic like R2R or R2SA, rather than regular AST?
I would ditch these greedy heathens as soon as you can. Totally unreasonable!
