Hi i have looked at a property on here and the landlord has asked for deposit tomorrow before ive viewed the property, he said I can view the property on Saturday and if its not suitable he will give me the money back?
Scam. Don’t do it. Use the button on the add to report it to Openrent.

This is fake agent because I give holding deposit and after canceled and not give back nothing

Dont do it. To quote Shelter
“Holding deposits
A holding deposit is a payment to reserve a property.
Do not pay a holding deposit without seeing the property. Only pay it if you are serious about taking on the tenancy.”

Only pay holding deposit when you are certain you want to rent the place. Otherwise if you then pull out LL can keep it - that’s how the law works. ( Who decides what is ‘suitable’ ?)
