May know if there is an option for potential tenant to directly connect to landlord by phone call? Compared to going through traditional agents where any enquiries from rightmove will directly get connected to agent customer service and they get answered, with openrent how tenants get connected to landlord? is it only by messages through portal? it will be very inconvenient for many potential tenants compared to talking over phone and sorting viewing appointments

Openrent works by tenants messaging landlord direct using chat system through website.

If landlord wants to pass on mobile number and go direct they can.

I usually ask applicants for the phone number and call them.

I usually do it the other way round i.e. give them my number and ask them to call me. I want people chasing me for the property, not me chasing them!
