# Received very few enquires after 3 weeks

Hi I’m not getting many enquires (4 in total but none had much traction) despite the listing being live for 20 days. I dropped the price from £950 to £895 to be just under other nearby similar properties. In previous years I’ve been inundated with enquires (like 100+) and never had a void. Can you provide feedback or suggestions on what to improve? I don’t know if it’s bad time of year in general to be letting or just my listing specific. Thanks

A fair few posts similar- slow market likely time of year bad weather and anaemic economy plus cost of living crisis making tenants look further afield. Zoopla reports higher supply lower demand.
Might help to say what floor it’s on and whether there are lifts? (Many folk prefer 1st not ground for security but higher can mean carrying shopping/small children up further)
There’s another in same block at 900pcm including ‘Concierge service’ does yours?
Not sure it’s a time of year students would be looking ?
Not sure if you have paid the extra to use rightmove too?
Get some agents round to tell you what they would value at and how long it should take?

Yes, I agree with @Graham. It’s basic supply and demand. If the properties are not renting at the current price, you either wait or reduce the price.
Just because it’s price similarly to other properties locally, does not mean that they are not all overpriced in the current market
