My prospective tenant is a doctor salaried at 40k. The referencing report states he has “failed”, as he does not earn enough to cover the rent? But he clearly does? Is there something I’m missing?
What do you mean he clearly does?
How do you define that?
The referencing will look for an annual salary of 30 x monthly rent; so a 40k salary would mean the max monthly rent is around 1.3k.
Do you still think he does?
