Referencing multiple tenants simultaneously?

I have 2 x preferred tenants and want to reference them both simultaneously? Is that normal? Doable in the Openrent system?

Yep - that’s absolutely fine and doable. You can order referencing for multiple applicants here:

We’d advise ordering them separately if they are not renting together, otherwise they will become linked.

Many on here woud advocate for doing some checks yourselves by seeing bank stats etc to pre-choose your preferred tenant.

I do think that there are ethical issues collecting detailed personal data, some of which is likely to be highly sensitive, on multiple applicants when you know for certain that some you will be rejecting. I could foresee the Information Commissioner having issues with it too.
