Hello all, can someone please clarify why do I have to pay for referencing (£30 per person) when I purchased ‘RentNow’ product at the point of starting to advertise the property? I was under the understanding that ‘RentNow’ fee at £128 includes advertising, referencing and contract creation…now I am a bit surprised that I’m asked to pay extra £60 for two tenants.
Awaiting response from OpenRent but I thought I’ll ask here as well.

Not sure what you.paid for - advertising plus 50 extra to advertise on rightmove? Plus rent now
The page about rightmove at 79.quid makes no mention of referencing.
And the page on pricing makes no mention of referencing being part of rent now

It’s not per tenant but per report. For 2 tenants you need to see their combined income to assess affordability vs the rent, not whether each could afford on their own

Pricing is very obvious & detailed on the pricing page, and even clearly shows that ‘Referencing’ is an optional extra.
