I can’t find any help on OR that deals with the practical steps of retuning a deposit.
The tenancy has finished and OR has confirmed that.
The only message I get is to go to the ‘end of tenancy’ screen.
I do that and the only papragraph dealing with the deposit says that I “need to let them [OR] know what to do”.
Crucially there is no link or even a note to tell me how I do that…
Am I missing something or do I just sit around and wait?

Think it won’t show you next step till tenancy has actually ended on 13 may - you cant return deposit yet. Simples

If your tenancy isn’t a 'newer ’ one with the steps shown at that link; contact OR support in the usual way… Look at bottom of OR page and click on 'Support ’ to send them a message. How hard can it be?

Maybe you are correct - it makes sense about the end of tenancy date.
Having said that, it is now the 13th and no button has suddenly arrived. Maybe it goes through to midday on the end of tenancy date.
I had followed through previously the OR guide you posted and that does not help and actually ends up going around in circles.
I did read a thread about one OR LL who wanted to give the deposit back to the tenant without ending the tenancy and that seems all but impossible!
I’ll wait until just after 12:00 midday and see what happens.

There was no rush. There was however a confusion as to why there is no button and no explanation of how the button to return the deposit appears.
It did finally appear around 3:00pm on the end of tenancy day so now its all good.
