Right to rent checks - ID services

Hi all,

I need to conduct right to rent checks on new tenants remotely. I have looked at ID services like credas and yoti but they all want me to do a “sales call” (always working whiff of upsell!) and I cannot simply order the service. Any recommendations for a quality provider I can just book online?

If they are foreign nationals (not UK or irish) you can get a share code from them and it’s v easy to check yourself on HO site

Otherwise any local estate agent will do it for you for a fee.

Has to be done in person or by video call with original docs I think so again you could do yourself via video call

If added to one of their other products like referencing (which aren’t expensive tbh)

But no idea if any good. I’d probably use a large estate agent chain instead or do myself given the size of fine if not done properly

Im not aware of any company offering this as one-off to Landlords. I think there are some who work on bulk for larger letting agents.
