Exactly a month ago today we have moved out of a house we were renting. We have received an end of tenancy inspection report but the landlord has not stated how much (if any) of the deposit he wants to keep for repairs.
The proeprty was managed by an agent and we have been requesting (through the agent) the information regarding our deposit, however the agents have not managed to get hold of the landlord for multiple weeks now.
Are we justified in starting a claim with the tenancy deposit scheme, given that we don’t know if there is any money to be disputed?
