I am looking for some advice regarding affordabilty of new tenants- who have both currently passed referencing via the OpenRent service within the RentNow portal. The wife is currently pregnant and due to commence maternity leave early next year and without her income, her partner is unable to afford the rent alone. I would like to seek deeper referencing- to ensure they will be able to afford the rent via her enhanced maternity cover (she has shared this with me) or via savings (they have offered to submit this but it was not requested in initial referencing)- but not sure how to do so/if there are any legal implications of doing so?
