Tenant guarantor says "token expired"

Tenant has sailed through referencing with ease. Guarantor said they received no email or SMS (email and phone were double checked and confirmed subsequently) and now says she has found the email but it says “token expired”. The dashboard is not showing any problems for her referencing, just that it recently sent the 2 messages and is awaiting a response.

Any advise gratefully accepted.

Turns out the guarantor was a bit of trouble so we have binned them now anyway.
