Turn unused place into something profitable

Hello,

I’m a student living in London, looking for any unused or unlettable space that I can turn into a small home. This could be an empty flat, an outbuilding, a room with its own access, or even a property in need of work.

I can completely refurbish and furnish it myself at my own cost and will take full care of the property so you don’t need to worry about a thing.

In exchange, I’m looking for a very low rent, as I have a limited budget. If you have a space you’re not currently using, or even something you think isn’t rentable yet. I’d love to discuss how I could make it work.

If you don’t have anything yourself but know someone who does, I’d be incredibly grateful for a referral.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

While this may appear a very reasonable idea in theory, in practice it would be illegal for a landlord to let any home that doesnt comply with the legislation from the start. The relevant legislation being s11 of the Landlord & Tenant Act 1985 on housing disrepair; the Homes Fitness for Habitation Act and the Housing Health and Safety Rating System.

Thanks David I will look into it
