I have lived in an apartment in Sheffield city centre for almost two years. When I first moved in, the price was 99 pounds per week. The apartment sent me a new contract in July this year , but the price went up sharply and the same room was changed to 115 pounds a week. And need pay 100 for rebook. I don’t agree, they threatened me to move, and I had to sign it. Then, just over a month later, new customers had bigger rooms for just 85 pounds a week. And the rest of the new guests also enjoy huge discounts. I think it has been discriminated against and treated unfairly. What should I do?
Make a formal complaint in writing, and while your at it, asked why you were charged a re-book fee that is illegal under the Tenant Fees Act.
