Hi there, I am trying to place a holding deposit on a property and OpenRent would like me to verify my account with a UK phone number. However, I currently live in South Africa and do not have a UK phone number, is there any way to get around this issue? ---

openrent needs a uk no, friend may be? I don’t take holding deposit via openrent but I still advertise on it, some landlords do it outside openrent. However if you back off your deposit won’t be returned, as the advert will be off market while the landlord do the checks etc. only if the landlord then backs off, it will be refunded. ---
