Im being issued a section 8 as my LL has sold the house im renting, how long does it take to actually receive the notice, as is been near a week now and ive had nothin?
@Louise84 check with your LL how it’s being served (email or by post ) and to what address and when it was served - may not have happened yet? If your tenancy agreement allows by email check your junk folder.

Ask your Landlord, if you are concerned you have missed something.

Check junk have nothing and email has been confirmed with a paper format in post also.
Check how sent by post. If sent ‘signed for’ and postie arrived when you were not in then wont have got to you
Post can go missing and email addresses can be mistyped so if it should have arrived more than a couple of working days ago, follow up with LL

Ive not left the house i am agoraphobic so im always in and I receive emails from letting agency all the time so they shouldn’t get my email wrong but im goin to call them tomorrow, with it being bank holiday today. Thanx for the advice
