Jodie - have you spoken to your actual LL or just the agent. If you can talk to you LL and try to establish when he intends to fix heating and why it is not done. To me it seems like the agent is possibly not helping the situation here.
The fact that he is not bothered to fix boiler is a massive failure from landlord side. It is better to move but no guarantee that your next LL will be any better or worse. I take boiler issues very seriously and action immediately. I am sure any decent LL will do the same.

Iād venture to say that thereās a good chance that the next LL will be better. Am I really optiomistic? All LL I know try their best to keep TT happy. We paid once for an emergency call out to install new boiler to spare T 10 days wait. Not sure if we had to. We did the same in other situations. But probably now we wonāt be able to afford it anymore.
Hi Lucinda, I didnt even know who the LL was, I did do abit of digging and tracked him down on facebook and sent a message but he didnt get back to me so i carried on searching for a new property. As mentioned above they have since ārevokedā the section 21 but still no mention of boiler repairs or anything else. I always assumed the agent was very good, but reading stories on here and really thinking about things i think they are part of the main issue! New LL is private, Built the property herself and appears very pro active (putting a fence up for me etc) I think leaving this property behind is my best option even though i love the area etc.
Got a good feeling that my new LL will be very pro active, she is already going beyond what i would expect. She built the property and its only 1 year old, Only rental property so im guessing it will be top priority.
