Can I add a Ground 1 clause?

Can I add a Ground 1 clause to a new tenancy agreement with Open Rent? We currently live in our property and will want to move back in at some point. I aware that it is wise to add this clause to the agreement. Can I do this? And if so, do Open Ret provide relevant wording that I can add? I know that the legal system will change soon with the new Renters Rights Bill, but we may be renting the property out before that comes into force. Thanks

You can add custom clauses on openrent. See advance settings when creating a contract.

Thanks Karl. Do you know if this Ground 1 clause is available? I remember people saying that it wasn’t a couple of years ago. I haven’t yet signed up for Open Rent, just exploring it for now. Thanks

They do not provide or suggest any custom clauses, but you can make up & add your own if you wish

I think you could find the relevant wording online or at one of the landlord membership bodies.
