Can I claim the Diy works I have done in the Buy To Let in my Tax Return?

Hi,
Suppose I am doing the diy works and gardening in my buy to let properties, can I claim for my time and works in the Self Assessment?

you cannot claim for your time ,only if you pay someone else can you set their wages against tax

And if you could, the tax that you would save would be exactly offset by the tax you would pay on the income you would be deemed to have paid yourself. In other words, no advantage.

The only way is if you have a limited company and pay yourself wages. That is deductible.
