Can i increase my rent as the court has now sided with my tenant after they lied on the court paperwork for my possession order and they sent the paperwork in after the 14 day deadline,I’m now being told is going to be June/Sept before it goes back to court.
The tenant has not had an increase since September 22 and its over £250 under market value?
Many thanks
You can raise it to full market rent, but dont expect it to be paid.

Thanks for the reply,my tenant has a guarantor would they not have to pay the rent even if its at the current rate?
I’ve never been a LL before so unsure how it works, and after this tenant goes i won’t rent it out again!!
Most guarantor agreements wont be valid after a rent increase.
make sure you can prove the rent is fair, then if they dont pay sue the guarantor, simple.
