Create a AST in advance

Hi Can you create a AST few months in advance by getting the tenants to sign the AST the reason for this is that I am marketing a property for Student so there is a time frame just wanted other landlords advice on this would be geatfull thanks jag

Hi, yes you can sign a tenancy agreement in advance of the commencement of the tenancy. In fact, this is usually what happens.
