Hi. Has anyone couple used deed of trust and form no 17 to split the rental income so that most of the rental income goes to partner with lower tax band? We are looking to go down that route and would appreciate any advise.

You will need a solicitor to draft the Deed of Trust. If the property is held as joint tenants, then they may need to change that to Tenants in Common first before they can vary the beneficial interest.
