I was considering taking out Rent Guarantee insurance so starting looking through reviews of the various providers to help me decide which one to go with. I’ve ended up more confused that ever.
Reviews giving 5 stars tend to talk about how easy it was to get a quote and set up insurance, while those giving 1 star often complain about problems when it came to making a claim.
Do any of your have experience of claiming on your Rent Guarantee insurance and being happy with the outcome? Who was it with?
I am also finding that during the quoting stage, providers aren’t particularly transparent about how easy it is to disqualify you from claiming due to tenants not fitting very strict criteria. So it seems easy to waste money for a policy that is worthless.
