Does Guarantor also need 30x Rental Value Income?

Hi

I know the common benchmark for affordability is your annual salary being 30x the monthly rental value.
So if the rent is £1000 a month, you need income of £30,000 a year.

Is this also the case for the guarantor? Or do they need even more income?
