DSS Income only

Hi,

I was told by someone in Open rent that I can set up a search for DSS income flats only but what I don’t understand is whether or not it will search for properties that accept people based on the local housing allowance for that area and place too. Can someone confirm how such a saved search actually works as ideally I want to it find me landlords who don’t sign discriminatory insurance contracts which exclude those on benefits from renting places?

It just searches all listings for a ‘Yes/No’ toggle switch that the Landlord has selected for their advert, entitled something to the effect of… "DSS Income Accepted.

You’ll need to research the Housing Allowance for any area, and set your own budget for what is affordable.

Thats great but why dont adverts show whether or not DSS income is accepted by the landlord instead of showing following?

"DSS covers LHA rate "??
