If you’re talking about ‘rent to rent’ then I think it would be a case of out of the frying pan and into the fire!

Oh! That’s a tricky one. Especially if it’s all in his name! I guess it depends on the circumstances. She’s remaining at the property so does she want to take over the contract and put it in her name? Or can she not afford the rent by herself? Is he still going to be paying the rent? Was she an occupier on the original contract? Think we need more details on the full situation.
