I am supposed to pay 6 months rent before I move in. Landlord requests to make a transfer of 3 months to open rent and 3 months rent directly to his account after I move in. I am supposed to transfer him the rest directly because Openrent doesnt support 6 months payment in advance, only 3 months.
Can anyone please comment and advise?

If this is what you agreed then this is totally fine ! Many landlords do not use open rent after the first months rent and deposit or even don’t use it for anything but advertising.
Always do due diligence and check the landlord owns the property and is entitled to rent it out …
