Hi, this is my first time using the Open Rent portal and have signed up to RentNow option.
Can I do the deposit registration myself elsewhere as we have an account with DPS and prefer to do the insured scheme. I still would like to use OpenRent for referencing, AST etc.
Please advise.

When using Rent Now, OpenRent will need to handle all the initial funds. We do this so that we can guarantee that the tenancy created is legally sound and that all legal requirements have been met.
We offer some further guidance on this here.
I’m afraid we cannot currently offer our tenancy agreement outside of the Rent Now process.
If you would prefer to handle the deposit yourself, you will need to cancel the application and set up a tenancy outside of the Rent Now process.
