Residential Finance Relief - Self Assessment

Hi, I am completing a Self Assessment and having only bought the BTL last year, but am not clear on Box 44 (Residential Finance Cost).

Do I add my Total Mortgage Interest Cost of £6000 or just the basic rate 20% of the £6000, therefore £1200?
