That’s definitely up to them. I would reply to say they have permission to add one if they wish, or request that they add a freestanding one.

No don’t worry… the posts from earlier in the thread.
I don’t find it a hassle, i guess i have been blessed with tenants that are not that demanding. If there is a problem i’ll get my trader out to fix it. I wouldn’t self manage properties that are too far away from where I and my tradesman are based.

Answering tenant queries is the main drain for me, and knowing which things I should act on vs. which things are just unreasonable requests , some tenants will ask for a full extension to be built if they think they can get you to agree!
