Tenants not moving out inspite of section 21 in march

@David240 i think it will be better for me to answer Q15h as NO to keep case straightforward, otherwise new dispute will arise. this is ‘no-fault’ eviction anyway.

@chawal2 well if they dispute and say it’s retaliatory the tenants will be saying they complained at 15g and will be saying you and the builder wrongly blamed on their lifestyle anyway at 15h. So court process would then hear about it anyway.

It’s marginal but may be better not to prompt tenants with something to disagree with.

stop talking nonsense. you need not reply. i am sure you have been doing these stupid things

@chawal2

@tatemono is making the same point I made in a less lighthearted way - if you don’t know how to fill a legal form in properly, spend some £ and get some expert advice from someone who knows how to and with experience of what the courts will accept.

Penny pinching will lead to errors and cost you much more in lost rent when you have to start again..

Good luck

forums r meant for this purpose-every forum query can boil down to legal advice. it is not crime to try to do these form ourselves with some advice. it is positive action. there is no compulsion to write mean things. tatemono was mean and disrespectful-this was not lighthearted. and colin joined the show. and u r also joining them. i am not sure what is the compulsion to respond to strangers unless something helpful. i am not sure why u r also saying same thing in every post. i am not doing anything illegal. one must be respectful and not try to again and again say same frustrating content. it is completely ok not to hire solicitor. my life my choice. and not sure why u keep saying rent loss etc. tenant is paying rent.

solicitors do not cause pennies. any penny pinching does not always lead to errors and losses. we learn from experience and enjoy the journey. i have always succeeded with planning, research and some advice. there is no need to humiliate and get nosey or pushy about how someone chooses to lead their lives. and i will not be able to start again due to 31 july deadline

You clearly have no sense of humour

so what? each to their own. why should i get attacked for asking advice in a forum.

@chawal2

You might not like @tatemono and my advice to get proper legal advice but it’s not nonsense as you suggested, and was def lighthearted. Read it again. Don’t take it personally. Nobody is attacking you

If you’ve got the rent coming in, what’s the problem with being able to afford some professional advice. Nobody on any of these fora would say their experiences and opinions can or should replace that.

Presumably you are losing something by having the tenants stay whether £ or not, otherwise you wouldn’t be doing an s21, so whatever it is you are losing you will lose more if it takes longer because you don’t want to ask for expert help and pay for it. It’s exactly because you won’t get a second chance that it’s probably worth paying to get right but your choice

Good luck but don’t expect people here to take you terribly seriously if you say you are confident in doing all the legal stuff yourself but then ask how to fill a form in…

forums r meant to ask advice. none is forcing anyone to reply. remember i am not asking advice if* i should hire solicitor or not. best to stick to the topic and ok to advice once off topic-not same sarcasm and negativity in every reply.

No one is attacking you . It is unfortunate that chawal loosely translates to “cursed” or " damned" . . Maybe choose a different tag/ Lets hope your end result does not live up to that tag

i do not want to reveal my identity but please rest assured that this name has very different meaning to what u r suggesting. this is cryptic name with neutral meaning in another language.

You asked us to freely give advice. We have spent years here giving advice, freely, in our own time. If we hadn’t, this forum wouldn’t exist. We gave you helpful advice. Instead of following the freely given helpful and very informed advice to hire a lawyer, you have decided to ask us to help you carry out the legal work yourself so that you don’t have to pay for it.

indeed

This is true and I would advise anyone on this forum against helping any stranger complete legal forms. I think this forum would be a better place for it because once people start realising that detailed (and quite possibly erroneous) assistance with legal forms is available on this forum for free, it starts to become a risky place to be.

Well, to be fair to us, you started off by asking

And no one here with any experience of these matters is going to disagree that what you “should” do is hire a solicitor.
