Hello, we have a private tenant in occupation who fell ill in February and stopped paying rent and currently owes us over £10k. He then applied to the Council for housing. We know he is receiving Universal Credit and he has shown us a letter stating that the Council owe him a Full Housing Duty, which includes rent payment to the Landlord. I fear he may be keeping the rent money.
How can I apply to the Council for an Alternative Payment Arrangement (APA) Please - Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
