Assured Tenancy Agreements

Hi there

I’ve always used Oyez Forms for my tenant ts Assured Tenancy Agreements but I’ve just found out they no longer trade. I’ve looked online and a number of places including OpenRent and the Gov.uk websites offer samples and free AST however I’ve been told for years that if these forms are not originally purchased copies ie not printed by yourselves or photocopied then they are effective legally useless. If you have an issue on a photocopied agreement a solicitor will not help. This is exactly why I’ve paid and used Oyez forms for so long. I’m now in need of some new AST agreements and have do idea where to go can anyone give me their view or any helpful advice.

Many thanks

I dont know who told you that, but you should stop listening to them. You can use the free Govt model by printing it, but I couldnt recommend that one. Its also very long. I think Openrents tenancy agreement is free to use. The landlord associations also have very good models.

It was a solicitor strangely enough so think it needs more clarification. I’ve asked landlord action to confirm. Thanks for your comments I will look at your suggestions for a decent AST Agreement :+1:
